SHEBOYGAN — The Sheboygan Daily has obtained dash cam video of the high-speed chase on Interstate 43 on Sunday night.
18 year old Ray Gidean-John Potter of Michigan was charged Monday after he had stolen a Ford Mustang in Illinois and fled northbound on I-43.
According to the criminal complaint, Potter decided to drive off because he thought he could outrun the deputy’s squad car. Officials said Potter also complained to the deputy that the car he stole only played rap music instead of country.
The chase reached speeds of 120 mph and involved several attempts to stop Potter before the 18 year old ditched his car in Brown County.
