NewsSHEBOYGAN — The owner of  Parm’s Landscape Management, Inc. has been charged Friday with sexually assaulting his ex-wife, according to a criminal complaint.

Matthew C. Parmley, 27, was charged with third-degree sexual assault and fourth-degree sexual assault.

According to the criminal complaint, the most recent sexual assault occurred on January 4. The ex-wife said Parmley came over to pick up the kids. She stated that he normally picks up the kids every other weekend on Friday evenings. She explained that she had the kids ready to go when the he asked her for a hug at which point Parmley began talking about wanting to have sex with her.

She explained that at one point they were seated on the couch together when he began touching her.

The ex-wife also detailed an incident that occurred towards the end of June or into July of 2012.

In 2004, Parmley was found guilty of second-degree sexual assault of a child.

If convicted, Parmley faces up to 10 years in prison.

After reading the complaint I feel bad for this guy. Sounds like the ex wife has an agenda here.

Yup that is scary for men to be alone with ex wives or girlfriends . It is best to have someone with you when you do stop by them.

My next-door couple just got in fight(arguing) and she called the cops, and its sad because now your involving someone that should not be included(cops) But now that is on file so it helps her for the future if anything happens. I just seen so many on fair things happen that when it realy happens I don’t believe a lot. I would never be on a jury trial over any type of sex or abuse situations ,sad I know. I had already got myself out of a trial for that all I did was told the judge I will not believe anything the attorneys will tell me about the case, and there for will not make good judgments.

its BS that women have the upper hand alot in these types of situations. Any woman can say “i was sexually assaulted, abused, raped, etc…” and typically they are believed because they are a woman. Im not saying it doesnt happen, but some women use it to their advantage, and that is bs. This is coming from a woman.

This is such a sad story about a very decent and honest man. I have known Matthew for about 3 years through his company and his company’s involvement in this community. For anyone that has had the opportunity to meet Matthew, they would know that there is no way
this can be true of someone like him. He is an outstanding person, dedicated father, and a honest and driven young man. For those that do not know him, I’d like to point out that the 2004 case was when Matthew was barely 18 years old and was in a consensual relationship with a younger girlfriend. His ex-wife is hispanic and got her legality in this country through her marriage to him. There is a lot more to this story then what meets the eye. What is most shocking about this story to me, is that during this time period I know that his ex-wife and Matthew were back together and she actually moved back into his home. Now that they are again separated, she has a lot of motives for doing something like this. Mainly that she wants to move back to Mexcio with their children and has not been able to get Matthew’s written consent to do so. For pete-sake, when Matthew pulls up in his car his licenses plate on his car reads, “Be True”
and has a license plate cover around it that says, “To God– To Yourself – To Others”. I truly hope when this case gets dismissed, the Sheboygan Daily does a story about the charges being dropped so this good man can have a chance at restoring the credibility of himself and his company.
