KOHLER — Kohler Power Systems, a manufacturer and marketer of home, marine, mobile and industrial generators, hosted more than 350 attendees during its North America distributors conference last week at The American Club resort in Kohler.
“The conference provided our marine, industrial, mobile, light commercial and home generator distributors a chance to be in one place and share new ideas, discuss challenges and discover new products and technology,” said Jim Kukla, marketing manager for Kohler Power Systems Industrial products.
Kohler Power Systems also recognized their 2012 Distributors of the Year award recipients per product category. They include:

Lt. General Russel L. Honoré (Ret.) Commander of Joint Task Force Katrina and Global Preparedness Authority presented a riveting keynote address thanking the distributors for their role in preparing and rebuilding communities in the midst of the storms of 2012 and offered key leadership insights from his new book “Leadership in the New Normal.”
In addition to Kohler executives addressing the crowd, Ed Del Grande master plumber, pipefitter and general contractor, presented his perspective on the past and future trends of generator interest and sales.
Kohler Distributors also toured the Kohler Power Systems manufacturing facility, attended training classes on new products, services, parts and sales force development and visited the Kohler Design Center.
