Bomb threat being investigated at Cedar Grove-Belgium High School

CEDAR GROVE — Authorities are investigating a bomb threat at Cedar Grove-Belgium High School that was made Wednesday afternoon.

The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office received the bomb threat via phone at 2:43 PM. The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office Explosive Ordnance Disposal Division was called in to assist.

A complete search of the school was done and no explosive devices were located.

Extra patrols and officers will be at the high school Thursday morning as students arrive for classes, according to the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office.

Cedar Grove-Belgium High School has an enrollment of about 300 students.
